Technical Graphic Designer (Contract)

Budget: R20 000 - R24 000 per month

Contract Duration: ASAP 6-months (with potential to extend or become perm)

Working Hours: 7am - 4pm OR 8am - 5pm

Working Type: in-office

Location: Bramley Park, Johannesburg

‍Responsibilities:

• Create technical artwork for a range of marketing and informational materials, including mailers, banners, social media graphics, and print-ready documents.
• Work closely with product and marketing teams to ensure designs communicate the technical aspects of our products effectively and meet brand guidelines.
• Prepare files for print with high-quality resolution and color accuracy, ensuring consistency across all printed materials.
• Adapt designs for different digital platforms, including website assets and social media.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Stay updated with industry design trends and best practices, contributing innovative ideas to enhance our visual communication.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in technical graphic design, ideally within an industrial, manufacturing, or distribution setting.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of digital media specifications, file preparation for print, and color management.
• Excellent attention to detail, especially with technical artwork and specifications.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Portfolio showcasing relevant technical design experience, particularly in creating marketing assets for technical or industrial products.
