The Growth Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in driving our business growth by generating new leads through diverse digital channels and optimizing the potential of existing leads. This position involves close collaboration with the sales team to align strategies and enhance our digital brand presence. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic insight, creative problem-solving abilities, and hands-on execution skills, enabling them to effectively manage and implement marketing campaigns.

About this position

Location: Stellenbosch, Cape Town

Contract duration: 3-Months (with potential for extension)

Working Environment: Remote - only onsite when required to meet with stakeholders, sales representatives or managers

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation:
    • Develop and implement initiatives using digital channels to generate new leads.
    • Manage the Google Ads account, either through collaboration with an agency or by executing campaigns independently.
    • Create and manage lead generation campaigns on Facebook.
    • Optimize and experiment with new marketplaces such as AutoTrader and Cars.co.za for lead generation.
    • Test and evaluate additional channels for generating leads.
  • Maximize Existing Lead Potential:
    • Utilize in-house data for data mining to identify and deliver high-quality leads for sales outreach, vehicle launches, and other events.
    • Create and manage email campaigns targeting older leads, providing relevant content to keep them engaged.
    • Automate the lead process to ensure that leads are directed to the appropriate person in real-time.
  • Collaborate with Sales:
    • Work closely with the sales teams to improve lead supply and quality.
    • Schedule monthly meetings and maintain ongoing communication with the sales team.
    • Report test results and campaign performance, including key KPIs, to Sales Managers and other stakeholders.
  • Build the Brand Digitally:
    • Enhance the brand’s digital presence by regularly posting updates on Facebook, including content from our marketing agency
    • Run and manage Facebook Ads campaigns.
    • Oversee the Donford Group website, conduct A/B tests to improve conversion rates, and ensure the site is optimized for lead generation.
    • Manage incoming communications from leads and customers on our social media channels.
