Senior Multimedia Designer (Contract)

Working Type: In-office

Working Location: Melrose Arch, Johannesburg

Hours: 40 hours weekly (08:30 - 17:00)

Retainer: R32 000

Contract Duration: 4 months - with the possibility of extension (1 November 2024 - 28 Feb 2025)

Main Responsibilities:

• Conceptualise and design multimedia assets based on existing visuals for TV ads (note: no shooting involved).
• Create stings, lower-thirds, and LED display content for various campaigns.
• Develop how-to videos, ensuring they are engaging and informative.
• Design content for DOOH advertising, ensuring consistency and high-quality visuals across formats.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to understand project goals and translate them into creative visual designs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and integrate new techniques to enhance creative outputs.
• Maintain organized files and assets, ensuring easy access and reference for future projects.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in multimedia design, with a focus on TV ads, stings, and DOOH content.
• Expertise in using software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other relevant tools for motion graphics and video production.
• Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to work with existing visuals to create captivating media pieces.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising on quality.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Availability for a 4-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
