Account Executive (Contract)

The core focus of this role is to support the existing Account Management team with crucial day to day client management and delivery tasks. From briefing through to client delivery, internal communication, administration, proposal building and project management, this is a key role that will support the Account Managers deliver value, retain and ultimately grow their dedicated accounts. You’ll be working with our various production teams across Strategy, SEO, Paid Advertising, Social Media, Graphic Design, Video, Editorial and Web Development, giving you an invaluable insight into a spectrum of digital marketing channels, platforms and content within a fast paced digital marketing agency.

About this position

Budget: R20 000 - R22 000 pm

Location: Remote, ZA (Working for a UK Company)

Contract Length: 12 months

Contract Type: Full-time Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the AM team to prepare client collateral from pitching decks to client roundups to reports
  • Communicate briefing requirements to our various production teams
  • Proof creative deliverables as part of our internal QA process
  • Use your project management skills to stay on top of timelines and multiple teams to ensure requirements are clear, timelines are being adhered to and that the AM team are well informed
  • Support with Salesforce CRM
  • Handle enquiries in a courteous and efficient way
  • Prep client documentation from upsell decks through to client schedules of work and budget / deliverable round up documents
  • Govern meeting documents, folders and our project management system SIMON to ensure project move along smoothly
  • Internal briefing and day to day account communication with the respective production team members
  • Manage internal briefing calls and setting up client calls
  • Collating, interpreting and organising client feedback
  • Acknowledging client emails where the AM is otherwise busy 
  • Contribute to the overall success and culture of the business by exuding positivity and a can do attitude.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of exposure in an agency background with administrative and client facing experience
  • You’ll need a hunger to improve and develop, we’re an ambitious team who are always looking to improve.
  • Presentation skills and knowledge of Google Suite
  • Preferred experience: Familiarity with the UK market and an understanding of client expectations.
  • Desirable: Exposure to any international markets, such as Canadian, Australian, or American.
  • A self starter with a project management mindset focussed on providing a premium service
  • A positive attitude and no shortage of drive and ambition
  • Team player who will relish the opportunity to muck in and be hands on
  • First class communication skills - from listening, to presenting ideas, to objection handling
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Driven not only by individual performance but also by the desire to help the team succeed
  • Digitally aware, inspired by creative/design/marketing. Strong interest in digital marketing with a willingness to learn
