Senior Social Strategist (Contract)

Budget: R49 300 (experience related)

Working Type: Hybrid (3 days in office)

Contract Type: Full-time Contract

Contract Duration: 9-months (or until the end of the year)

In line with the companies internal policies, an EE candidate is preferred

Responsibilities include:

• Serve as the voice of social strategy for Coca-Cola brands across Africa, supporting leadership and client services teams.
• Develop integrated social strategies based on audience, brand, cultural, and platform insights.
• Lead workshops for Coca-Cola category clients to optimize their social strategy.
• Work closely with integrators, creative teams, and insights teams to develop data-driven strategies.
• Present strategies and reports to senior-level clients.
• Guide ideation and ensure creative outputs align with strategic objectives.
• Define KPIs and measurement solutions for social media success.
• Establish and document best practices, frameworks, and case studies for social strategy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a social media agency, integrated agency, or well-known brand/platform.
• Proven experience working with senior stakeholders in a strategic capacity.
• Experience delivering fully integrated marketing solutions.
• Strategic problem-solving and adaptability.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and departments.
• Strong knowledge of social platforms, tools, and trends.
• Proficiency in social performance metrics and analytics.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
