Senior Designer (Project)
We are looking for a Senior Multimedia Designer to support ongoing client retainer work. This role involves both animation and static design, including social media graphics, Google Ads designs, and digital campaigns (e.g., Pick n Pay digital). The role requires someone who can quickly adapt, create high-quality designs, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for a seasoned designer who can immediately contribute to high-quality digital campaigns. The team operates in an inclusive, fast-paced, and slightly chaotic environment, so adaptability and efficiency are key.
About this position
Retainer: Competitive Hourly Rate
Location: Craighall Park, JHB
Contract Length: ASAP (1 - 2 weeks)
Contract Type: Full-time Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute social media designs, Google Ads creatives, and other digital campaign assets
- Develop both static and animated content
- Ensure brand consistency and high design standards across various platforms
- Collaborate with internal teams to support client marketing initiatives
- Understand and design for different Google Display specifications
Requirements & Qualifications.
- 5-7 years experience in a senior designer role
- Previous agency experience is essential
- Strong concept-to-production design skills
- Experience in digital marketing and advertising
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field
Technical skills/software proficiency:
- Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Figma (advantageous)
- WordPress (advantageous)
- Microsoft Suite
- Ability to animate is a plus
