Web Developer (Umbraco)
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our team. As a Web Developer, you will be instrumental in creating and maintaining websites, web applications, and various digital solutions for our client that drives their business forward. We are seeking an experienced and creative Web Developer to build and maintain our clients websites and web applications. In this role, you will collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, user-friendly websites and applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development principles, coding best practices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy responsive and scalable websites and web applications.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement and improve front-end designs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for both front-end and back-end development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with websites and web applications.
- Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather and refine project requirements.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Umbraco development (required)
- Experience with back-end development using languages such as Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby, or similar.
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub).
- Knowledge of web development tools (e.g., Webpack, NPM).
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and web performance optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
- Understanding of security best practices in web development.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
