Social Media Manager

Budget: R25 000 per month CTC

Location: Cape Town, ZA

Working Type: Full time in office

Main Responsibilities:

• Stay up-to-date with social media trends and technologies, proactively identifying growth opportunities.
• Develop and execute platform-specific organic social media strategies for TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Oversee community management, fostering meaningful interactions and maintaining brand tone across all platforms.
• Collaborate with the team to generate creative ideas and implement pre-set strategies tailored to each platform.
• Transition the management of LinkedIn in-house from the agency, ensuring a seamless integration.
• Coordinate the social media efforts of multiple brands within the Weaver Fintech group, maintaining consistency and high standards.
• Differentiate and balance organic versus paid social media efforts
  

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in social media management, with a strong focus on community engagement.
• Proven ability to manage and grow multiple brands on social media platforms.
• Deep understanding of platform-specific strategies, particularly for META platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram) and LinkedIn.
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative content ideas and strategies.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple brands and projects simultaneously.
• Previous experience in fintech or agency environments is a plus.
