We're looking for a Marketing Communications Lead, who can drive our clients brand forward, with passion. This role will support both Marketing Brand campaign adoptions internally as well as initiatives for our clients branch employees.

About this position

Budget: R32,250 pm

Location: Stellenbosch, ZA

Working Type: Hybrid, 2-3 days per week in Stellenbosch

Contract Type: Full-time Contract - 6 months

Key Performance Areas:

  • Campaign Management: From conception to the execution, you will steer the direction for all the internal product campaigns and relevant stakeholder campaigns that bring the clients culture and brand alive.
  • Ownership of Key Strategic Initiative: Speaker series events are experiences for our people. Your role is to pitch the concept, involve your stakeholders, support business objectives, and activate it with some fun.
  • Reporting: Keep us in the loop with weekly & monthly reports that are as insightful as they are incisive.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build bridges and forge alliances with stakeholders who share our vision.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities:

  • Content Management:
    • Ideate and contract development of required content
    • Develop, plan and lead the execution of effective communication strategies, aligned to the Marketing product calendar, Tactical campaigns and employer brand strategy
    • Be a collaboration ninja: Align with your stakeholders to support their objectives for the year ahead.
  • Ask ‘how can we do this better’? Make suggestions and strive for progression on every campaign we support or develop.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Be the key point of contact for Internal stakeholders (for relevant product owners / stakeholders). 
    • Prepare presentations and campaign proposals. 
    • Have a thorough understanding of portfolio team deliverables (aligned to book of work) and agree on supporting activities.
    • Align to meeting routines to remain in touch with the upcoming needs
  • Functional Leadership:  Be the go-to guru for this function and own the portfolio end-to-end

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum: 3-5 years of brand marketing and/or communications experience in a dynamic, client-centric environment. You’ve been the agency ace, the project prodigy, and the storytelling superstar.
  • Ideal: Your journey has taken you through the realms of FMCG, retail, banking, or services. You’re a digR pundit, or an internal communications commander.
